Mesquite Pit never disappoints husband had brisket plate with fries and cowboy beans I had Pit salad with brisket.
We have been going to Mesquite Pit for more than two years. The filet cuts are very good about 70% of the time, depending on when you order it. Grilled chicken salads are very good with large portions. Fried pickles and fried okra are very good. Turtle cheese cake and Chocolate French Silk pie is very good ( but proportions are inconsistent). Onion rings are very good. If you order take out be sure to check your order before leaving, especially if Autumn is working. Even after having to make another trip to get the brown rice that I ordered, she still gave us white rice. I have to subtract a star for incomplete takeout orders.
The food and service is a wonderful here! I had my graduation lunch here and the servers took great care of us! All of the food was delicious and everyone was happy with their plates. Will defintley come back next time I'm in the area!

Every time we've went into the Mesquite Pit it's been amazin. Tjhe service is as usual wonderful always friendly and our drinks are always kept full. we usually get the ribeye & chicken fried bacon for an appetizer. The restaurant is very nice and clean making for a nice ambience.
Great homemade soup and fresh garden salad . Can't beat the BBQ especially the chopped beef sandwich .The waitresses & waiters are amazing and friendly!
Great steaks and bbq we stop in from time to time and always have a good meal. Service is usually good and we can usually get in and out pretty quick.
If you're looking for that country cooking that makes you are sitting around your grandmothers kitchen table, this is it. The building itself could use some updating but the service and food make up for it. Our lunch was a large party and they easily accommodated us and were stellar at keeping up with all our wants and needs. The food was hot and tasty. We ordered for the table chicharrones and salsa and I loved it. Great switch from the usual tortilla chips. I ordered the chicken fried chicken. Perfectly cooked and crispy. Will definitely return the next time I'm in Weatherford.
Our most favorite place in town. Everything is delicious. We love their steaks! Mainly the filet. It's always perfect. Stacey is the best! We love the service. Everyone there does a great job!! We eat here almost weekly. Love them!
